Join us for another intimate dinner party, this time with Asian Fusion theme. Cooked by an up-and-coming private chef at a member's home in Scarborough.
Let's celebrate the beginning of Fall. Sip your welcome drink sitting by a waterfall and a crackling fire in the backyard, enjoying sliced baguettes served with herb infused butters created by the host at One Laughton.
CHEF MAC: Originally from Mumbai, Mac grew up in Portland, Maine. From a young age, he has developed his passion for food with a sense of the spicing's of Indian cooking, and he has always been influenced by Southeast Asian and Asian cuisines. At the same time, his curiosity about other food cultures has led him to take inspiration from the flavors produced by many local kitchens. For Mac, creating dishes from his various experiences is a way of being authentic as a cook and a person.

THE MENU:
Here's a menu Mac especially created for us!
WELCOME DRINK (a surprise!) Accompanied by baguettes served with herb infused butters. Both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available.
STARTER: Beet salad - Fresh local beets, pears, and fennel tossed in chili-garlic dressing. Finished with herbs and roasted peanuts.
FIRST COURSE : Scallion pancakes - Savory pancakes served with mushroom pâtè, pickled seasonal vegetables, and soy dipping sauce.
MAIN COURSE: Butter Masala - Choice of either seared chicken or handmade paneer for the vegetation option. Served with buttery yogurt, tomato masala, cucumber rita, and rice.
DESSERT : Honey lemon flan - Filipino inspired sweet custard
